This summer has been incredible. It started with a roadtrip that me and my best friend, Posey, took to Bar Harbor, Maine. Using a garmin and the small amount of common sense that we both have, we drove 1,017 miles across Pennsylvania, New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and into Maine. While we were there we did all sorts of things. We ate shit tons of food. We saw some of the most beautiful and picturesque landscapes ever. We almost killed each other several times. We went whale watching and got really seasick. I got barfed on while we were whale watching. Posey got mad at me for not making a u-turn on a one way street while there were cars behind me. We went kayaking through insane, rapid waves and almost died several times with a guy who literally told us at the end of the trip to call Obama and tell him to save the whales. We went to a movie theater that was simultaneously a pizza place and watched Toy Story 3 while stuffing our faces. I had a small love affair with a foreign guy named Shamil who worked at the ice cream place. We smoked cigars while sitting on the rocks overlooking Frenchman bay. It was an awesome experience.
Me and Posey at Sand Beach in Acadia National Park
Random beautiful place we found in the park.
Stephen King's house in Bangor, Maine.
Kayaking...although it was deadly it was one of the most amazingly peaceful things I have ever experienced.
But we were still really fackin tired after it.
Some other place in the park.
Postcard statusss.
So after Maine, I worked a lot, hung out with my favorite people, went camping, went to a few concerts, participated in the usual summer shenanigans.
Then I went to the Outerbanks with my dad's side of the family, and I realized that my sister is my best friend.
Then I came home for 2 days and had quite an interesting evening with some of my good friends aaaand we'll leave it at that :)
I then spent 9 days in New York City, my favorite place in the entire world, and I learned so much about myself. It was the best trip I've ever been on. Everyone wants to live there, but I am actually going to one day. I promise. You'll see :) We went to Coney Island, to the Met, we saw the Jimmy Fallon show get taped, we met Jimmy Fallon, we got to see the today show concert with Carrie Underwood and we were on tv like 97 times, I met Carrie and got her autograph and I also met Matt Lauer and Al Roker. Sweeeeet shit :) Spent a lot of time in SoHo which is my own personal heaven of the coolest most fashionable people ever.
i think this entire thing is incredible. the frame, the color, the brush technique...it's perfect. i'm going to steal it one day :)
ridiculously in love with vincent van gogh so of course i think i'm super cool for having my thumb and his painting all in the same picture :) hahaha
